The Global Shapers Community was born in 2011 from an initiative of the World Economic Forum. It is a network of young leaders under 30, spanning over 150 countries and more than 15,000 members. It brings together innovators, policymakers, researchers and activists who drive local projects and international exchanges to tackle pressing global challenges and build a more sustainable, inclusive future.

For over a decade, the Global Shapers Rome Hub has brought energy, innovation and a global perspective to the capital, working alongside local communities to create a better present and future for the city.
Over the years, we have developed projects across social inclusion, environmental sustainability, education, civic innovation, and culture, building partnerships with organisations capable of generating shared value and lasting local impact.
